Hippity Hoppity

I made a frog cake. It is so derpy and I love it!

I created it over a few days, just in the short time between exercising my dog/catching up with my neighbours and bed time. I knew it would take me a bit, so I chose a cake that I knew would stay fresh for a while-RecipeTinEats' Best Vanilla Cake. I had eaten it before, but not made it. I stuck to the recipe and it turned out great! It was hard to stick to it, let me tell you XD.

The cupcakes for the eyes were a bit more hit and miss. I found a recipe for a single cupcake and made it, however it asked for a tablespoon of egg. Why would I measure egg???? In goes a whole egg, she'll be right. Wrong. The cupcakes were gross. Ahh well, they'll do for the decoration.

In the end, the cake turned out well for a homemade cake. Apparently it tasted good and stayed fresh too!
